OMG, THIS. ALL OF THIS. I enjoy the hell out of any slashy moment a movie wants to throw at me, but this movie transcends that. It really is an actualfax romance, jfc. I was sitting there during the beach scene and was like, OMG, WHAT, IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING??! the entire time. Because I always dream about these things playing out that beautifully and with so much feeling, and it so rarely happens, but it's like this movie has read my mind.
I feel you on wanting to write and read ALLLLLL the words. It's been so long since I've been really involved in a non-rpf fandom, and now it's all this characterisation and history and time period stuff and I feel like I'll never get a handle on it all. /o\ So, mostly just reading (omg, yes, MOAR HAPPYFIC) and loving it. :D
